Getting A Little More Stable
As I have mentioned in some of my main blog posts, I have been learning and using AI for a variety of purposes. In this post, I want to focus on one of the reasons I wanted to start using it, Character Designs. Even though we had a lot of really awesome and fun designs from several artists, we were unable to get the final designs done before I left. While I plan to continue to incorporate their ideas and contributions, I also wanted to see what I could do with generating some images to help fill in the gap. I used Stable Diffusion to generate several ideas, and I plan to incorporate elements of some of these into the final designs which I am working on next. I know a lot of people are upset with AI right now, but despite my own fears and reluctance toward it, I figure it’s better to start learning how to use it now and stay ahead of it instead of letting it overrun you and get left behind.
